From the moment you walk in\, you’ll feel the buzz. Expect live performances\, a relaxed crowd\, and a night that’s all about enjoying great music together. \nWhether you perform or simply love live music\, this night is for you. \n🎸 Perform\, Play\, or Just Enjoy\nIf you sing\, play an instrument\, write songs\, or perform spoken word\, this is your chance to get involved. Step up\, plug in\, and share your talent in a supportive space. \nHowever\, you don’t need to perform to enjoy The Jam Factory. If you’d rather sit back with a drink and watch\, you’re just as welcome. In fact\, the mix of performers and supporters is what makes the night special. \nAs the evening unfolds\, you’ll hear a wide range of styles. From acoustic sets to upbeat crowd favourites\, every Jam Factory will feel fresh and unpredictable. \n🌟 A Friendly\, Welcoming Atmosphere\nMost importantly\, everyone is welcome. There’s no pressure and no judgement. Instead\, the focus stays on encouragement\, enjoyment\, and having fun. Because of this\, The Jam Factory is perfect for first-time performers and seasoned musicians alike. \nMeanwhile\, the bar will be open all night. So\, grab a drink\, relax with friends\, and soak up the atmosphere as the music flows. \n📅 A New Monthly Favourite\nThis is just the beginning. The Jam Factory will run monthly\, giving local talent a regular stage and creating a new social night for the club. Over time\, we hope it becomes a must-attend event for performers and music lovers across the area. \nSo\, whether you want to take the mic\, support local artists\, or simply enjoy a brilliant night out\, The Jam Factory is the place to be. \nCome along\, get involved\, and help us kick off something special 🎤🎶 \n\nImportant Performer information – PLEASE READ.\n\nPerformance time: 20:00 – 23:00\n7 x 30-minute slots available\nEach 30-minute slot includes:\nPlug-in and line check\nPerformance time\nPack down and clear the stage\n\nThere should be enough time to perform approximately 15–20 minutes of music within your slot. \nActs must be on and off stage within their allocated 30 minutes (this rule is strict). \nHow to Apply\nApplications will be taken via social media (Facebook and/or Instagram – TBC). \n\nThe first 7 genuine requests will secure a performance slot.\nAdditional applicants may be offered reserve slots\, with no guarantee of performing and no automatic priority for future events.\nPerformance order is decided by management\, though reasonable requests will be considered.\nEarlier applications receive priority.\n\nThe venue will supply:\n\n2 x guitar amplifiers\nBass amplifier (initially may run direct to the sound desk)\nDrum kit (snare and 2–3 cymbals included)\nPA system\nMicrophones and mic stands\n\nWhat Performers Must Bring\n\nInstruments\nLeads/cables (including wireless systems if required)\nSmall-scale effects\nDrumsticks (for drummers)\n\nPlease note:\n\nNo amplifiers to be brought by performers.\nDrum kit will be set up for right-handed drummers.\nSound & Performance Guidelines\nLine checks will be provided\, with a brief opportunity to adjust levels.\nFull sound checks are not available.\n\nEverything operates on a best-effort basis. \nProfessional behavior is expected at all times. \nMusic Selection\n\nCover versions are encouraged.\nOriginal material is also welcome.\nPlease be mindful of the audience when choosing songs.\n\n\n📲 Follow WSSC on social media for updates on upcoming events!\n  \nTikTok – yourwssc\nX (formerly Twitter) – yourwssc\nFacebook – WhitchurchSocialClub \nKeep an eye out for on our events page for all the upcoming events
