England’s World Cup journey comes to an end on Saturday 18th July as the Three Lions face France in the FIFA World Cup Third Place Play-Off.

Join us at Whitchurch Sports & Social Club to watch the match live on our huge 20ft screen in the Events Hall.

Doors open from 7:00pm, with kick-off at 10:00pm.

Everyone is welcome to attend, and there is no need to book in advance.

Important Venue Information

Please note that Comedy Night is also taking place at the club on the same evening.

The two events will be held in separate areas:

• England vs France will be shown in the Events Hall
• Comedy Night will take place in the Public Bar

The events will operate independently, so anyone attending the football should make their way to the Events Hall.

Comedy Night tickets do not include reserved seating or entry arrangements for the football, and football attendees should not expect access to the Comedy Night performance.

Food and Drink

Our fully licensed bar will be open throughout the evening.

Please note that we will not be offering food and drink packages for this match.

Guests are welcome to arrive from 7:00pm, enjoy a drink and settle in before kick-off.

Under 18s

Under 18s are welcome to attend but must be properly supervised by an adult at all times.

A maximum of three under 18s per supervising adult will apply.

We ask all adults attending with children or young people to ensure they remain with them throughout the evening.

England may have missed out on the final, but there is still one more opportunity to get behind the team as they take on France for third place.
