🎶 Acoustic Sessions – Sunday Afternoons at Whitchurch

The Acoustic Sessions at Whitchurch Sports & Social Club offer a relaxed and welcoming way to enjoy live music on a Sunday afternoon. Organised by Keith Bell, these sessions focus on good music, good company, and a friendly atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable.

Although these sessions have been running for some time, we’re now giving them the attention they deserve. As a result, more people can discover what makes these afternoons so enjoyable.

🎸 A Relaxed Afternoon of Live Music

First and foremost, the Acoustic Sessions are informal. There’s no stage pressure and no strict format. Instead, performers and listeners come together to share acoustic music in a laid-back setting.

Whether you play guitar, sing, or simply enjoy listening, you’ll feel right at home. Many people pop in for a drink and stay longer than planned once the music gets going. Because of this, the sessions often grow naturally as the afternoon unfolds.

🎤 Everyone Is Welcome to Join In

These sessions welcome all abilities and experience levels. If you’ve performed for years or never played in public before, you can still take part. The focus stays on encouragement, enjoyment, and sharing music rather than perfection.

However, you don’t need to perform to enjoy the afternoon. Plenty of people come along just to relax, listen, and soak up the atmosphere. As a result, the sessions suit musicians, music lovers, and casual visitors alike.

The next Acoustic Session takes place this Sunday 15th February at Whitchurch Sports & Social Club. Doors open in the afternoon, making it the perfect way to unwind before the week ahead.

These sessions run regularly, so once you’ve been along once, you’ll likely want to return.
