🎶 Live Music Returns – Friday 1st May

This time, we return on Friday 1st May, with doors opening at 7pm. After a strong start, momentum is already building. As a result, this next night is shaping up to be even better.

We’ve already confirmed three acts:
🔥 The Unforgiven Two
🔥 El Guapo
🔥 Mr Keith Bell

So, expect a great mix of styles, strong performances, and a lively atmosphere throughout the evening.

🎸 Perform, Play, or Just Enjoy

If you sing, play an instrument, write songs, or perform spoken word, now is your chance to get involved. Step up, plug in, and share your talent in a supportive space.

Alternatively, if you prefer to relax, you can simply enjoy the music. In fact, the mix of performers and supporters makes the night what it is.

🌟 A Friendly, Welcoming Atmosphere

Most importantly, everyone is welcome. There’s no pressure and no judgement. Instead, the focus stays on encouragement, enjoyment, and having a good time.

Because of this, The Jam Factory suits both first-time performers and experienced musicians. Meanwhile, the bar stays open all night. So, grab a drink, meet up with friends, and enjoy the atmosphere as the music flows.

📅 A Night That’s Gaining Momentum

Right now, The Jam Factory is still in its early stages. However, each event builds more energy, more confidence, and a stronger crowd.

As a result, this is the perfect time to get involved early. Whether you want to perform or simply enjoy a great night out, this is one to watch.

Important Performer information – PLEASE READ.

• Performance time: 20:00 – 23:00
• 7 x 30-minute slots available
• Each 30-minute slot includes:
• Plug-in and line check
• Performance time
• Pack down and clear the stage

There should be enough time to perform approximately 15–20 minutes of music within your slot.

Acts must be on and off stage within their allocated 30 minutes (this rule is strict).

How to Apply

Applications will be taken via social media or by contacting wssc.chairman@gmail.com

• The first 7 genuine requests will secure a performance slot.
• Additional applicants may be offered reserve slots, with no guarantee of performing and no automatic priority for future events.
• Performance order is decided by management, though reasonable requests will be considered.
• Earlier applications receive priority.

The venue will supply:

• 2 x guitar amplifiers
• Bass amplifier (initially may run direct to the sound desk)
• Drum kit (snare and 2–3 cymbals included)
• PA system
• Microphones and mic stands

What Performers Must Bring

• Instruments
• Leads/cables (including wireless systems if required)
• Small-scale effects
• Drumsticks (for drummers)

Please note:

• No amplifiers to be brought by performers.
• Drum kit will be set up for right-handed drummers.
• Sound & Performance Guidelines
• Line checks will be provided, with a brief opportunity to adjust levels.
• Full sound checks are not available.

Everything operates on a best-effort basis.

Professional behavior is expected at all times.

Music Selection

• Cover versions are encouraged.
• Original material is also welcome.
• Please be mindful of the audience when choosing songs.
