A Much-Loved Charity Event Back for 2026
By popular demand, the Macmillan Darts Marathon is returning to Whitchurch Sports & Social Club on Saturday 13th June 2026, and we’re delighted to be bringing this fantastic community fundraiser back once again.
Following the success of previous years, WSSC will once again host a full day of darts, laughter, and fundraising in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. This returning event has become a firm favourite on our calendar, bringing together players of all abilities for a great cause.

🎯 What Is the Macmillan Darts Marathon?
The Macmillan Darts Marathon is exactly what it sounds like — 12 hours of darts, or until we hit our ambitious target of 100,000 points. Players can take part throughout the day, whether it’s a quick throw or a longer stint at the board.
You don’t need to be a darts expert. In fact, this event is all about inclusion, encouragement, and enjoying the experience together. First-timers, casual players, and seasoned throwers are all welcome.

- Date: Saturday 13th June 2026
- Time: 11:00am – 11:00pm
- Location: Whitchurch Sports & Social Club, Hampshire
- Entry: Free entry, donations encouraged
The club bar will be open throughout the event, with drinks and snacks available, creating a relaxed and social atmosphere all day long.

🎯 Additional Fundraising Challenges
As if the 100,000-point challenge wasn’t enough, visitors will also have the chance to take part in four exciting darts games throughout the day.
Entry is just £2 per game, with 50% of all entry fees going to Macmillan Cancer Support and the remaining 50% awarded to the winner.
🎯 The Ace Average
- Can you throw consistently under pressure?
- Players have 5 visits (15 darts) to record the highest average score.
🎯 Bullseye Challenge
You have 60 seconds to score as many points as possible.
- 🔴 Bullseye = 2 points
- ⚪ Outer Bull = 1 point
- The highest score wins.
🎯 Mad House
- A true test of accuracy.
- Players have 15 darts to hit as many Double 1’s as possible.
🎯 The Number Run
- Starting on 1, players must hit every number in sequence as quickly as possible.
- The fastest time takes the prize.
Whether you’re a seasoned darts player or simply fancy having a go, these challenges offer even more opportunities to support a fantastic cause while enjoying the day.
