Something big is happening at Whitchurch Sports & Social Club this summer, and you’re invited to be part of it! On Saturday 16th August, we’ll be taking aim in an epic 12-hour Darts Marathon in support of Macmillan Cancer Support—and it’s shaping up to be one of our most exciting events of the year.

From 11am to 11pm, we’ll be trading trebles and bullseyes for something far more meaningful: raising funds to help people living with cancer. Whether you’re a darts enthusiast, a total beginner, or just fancy being part of something special in the heart of Whitchurch, Hampshire, we’d love you to join us.

The Challenge 🎯

The Macmillan Darts Marathon is a national fundraising event that dares teams to play darts for 12 hours straight—or aim to score a massive 100,000 points by the end of the day. Our Whitchurch team has accepted the challenge, and we’re going all-in to make every throw count.

This isn’t just a test of stamina and skill; it’s a heartfelt effort to give something back. Macmillan provides vital emotional, medical, and financial support to people affected by cancer, and the money we raise will go toward helping them continue that incredible work.

What to Expect on the Day

The event will run throughout the day at Whitchurch Sports & Social Club, creating a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere for everyone who comes through the door. There’ll be darts, of course—but also good banter, plenty of laughs, bar snacks, and drinks to keep the energy high.

Even if you don’t fancy playing darts yourself, you can still come along to show your support, make a donation, cheer on the players, and enjoy the community vibe. We’re creating a space where everyone can get involved, whether on the oche or from the sidelines.
