WSSC Membership Renewals Temporarily Deferred as Club Introduces New Platform
Whitchurch Sports & Social Club will temporarily defer membership renewals while we introduce a new electronic membership platform.
Committee Members agreed to the change at the club’s Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on Wednesday 19th August 2026.
The new platform will modernise how we manage club memberships. In addition, it will make future membership subscriptions easier for both members and the club.
💳 Introducing a New Electronic Membership Platform
The club will now begin work to implement and deploy a new electronic membership platform.
Currently, managing memberships involves several administrative processes. Therefore, moving to an electronic platform will help us simplify how we manage memberships in the future.
Most importantly, the new platform should make the membership process easier for our members and have aditional benefits.
We will share more information about how the platform works once it is ready to launch.
📅 What Happens to Membership Renewals?
Membership renewals will be deferred until our new membership platform has been fully implemented and deployed.
Therefore, members do not need to renew their membership at this time.
You do not need to take any action.
Once the new platform is operational, all members will be contacted in due course with information about renewing their membership.
We will also provide any further information members need before the new renewal process begins.
❓ Why Are Renewals Being Deferred?
Introducing the new platform represents an important improvement for Whitchurch Sports & Social Club.
However, we need time to implement the system and ensure everything works correctly before membership renewals begin.
Deferring renewals gives us the opportunity to complete that process properly. As a result, we can move members onto the new platform in a more organised way.
This also allows us to ensure the system is ready before members need to use it.
