Earlier Friday Opening Times Start From 12th June 2026
We’re pleased to announce a change to our Friday opening hours at Whitchurch Sports & Social Club.
From Friday 12th June 2026, the club will open at 5:30pm, giving members and guests even more time to relax, socialise, and enjoy everything the club has to offer.
Previously, the club opened at 7:00pm on Fridays. However, following feedback and increasing demand, we’ve decided to open earlier and help everyone get their weekend started a little sooner.

Whether you’re finishing work for the week, meeting friends for a drink, or simply looking for a welcoming place to unwind, our earlier opening time gives you more flexibility.
As a result, you’ll be able to pop in straight after work, enjoy a drink, catch up with friends, and make the most of your Friday evening.
Meanwhile, the club will continue to offer the friendly atmosphere that has made it a popular destination for members and visitors alike.
🎉 Supporting a Busy Summer at WSSC
The change comes as Whitchurch Sports & Social Club prepares for a packed summer programme of events.
From live music and comedy nights to boxing, bingo, charity fundraisers, and World Cup football on our huge 20ft screen, there’s plenty happening at the club over the coming months.
By opening earlier on Fridays, we hope to make it even easier for people to enjoy the club and everything it has to offer.
