Our New 20ft Screen Is Ready for Huge Sporting Nights
Whitchurch Sports & Social Club has gone big — literally.
We’re excited to announce the arrival of our brand-new 20ft screen in the events hall, bringing an even bigger atmosphere to live sport at the club. Whether it’s football finals, major tournaments, or huge sporting moments, this new setup transforms the viewing experience completely.
From dramatic last-minute goals to penalty shootouts and trophy lifts, there’s nothing quite like watching live sport on the big screen with a packed crowd around you. Now, we’re taking that experience to the next level.
âš˝ Big Football Nights Start This May
The first big match on the new screen takes place on Saturday 9th May, as Middlesbrough take on Southampton in the Sky Bet EFL Championship Play-Offs.
With promotion dreams on the line, expect a brilliant atmosphere as two big clubs battle it out in one of the most important matches of the season.
Then, we move onto two massive European finals.
First, we’ll show the Europa League Final on Wednesday 20th May, as Aston Villa face SC Freiburg.
Then, just over a week later, we’ll host another huge football night for the UEFA Champions League Final on Saturday 30th May, featuring PSG vs Arsenal.
All matches will show live in the events hall on the new 20ft screen, giving supporters the perfect chance to experience the setup for themselves.
🌍 The World Cup Is Coming This Summer
Of course, these matches are just the beginning.
This summer, we’ll also show games from this year’s World Cup live on the big screen, creating a fantastic atmosphere right here at the club.
